Powder Coating is an extremely durable, fade and chip resistant finish.  With proper care, your powder coated item (s) should last for many years to come!  In areas of the Country where there is extreme weather conditions, i.e. near the ocean exposed to harsh heat and salt, maintenance is essential.

In areas where the metal material overlaps, in tight corners or open tubing, it is suggested that a clear silicone sealant be applied to keep moisture out.

Should rusting or oxidation begin to occur you must follow these basic maintenance steps to prevent any further rusting or oxidation.

1.  Either with a wire brush or steel pad clean area thoroughly to remove rust/oxidation.

2.  Wipe clean with a damp lint free cloth.

3.  Use a Rustoleum paint in a matching color, these paints can be found at your local  hardware or paint supply company.
